The Fellowship of Men
The men's ministry at FPC consists of two independent but related components: (1) larger group meetings several times a year for fellowship and a speaker and (2) small groups of 6 to 10 men meeting on a regular basis for Bible study, mutual support and prayer.
The purpose of the ministry is to encourage men in their discipleship as followers of Jesus Christ and to provide fellowship opportunities for men.
Small group are meeting at various times and locations in order to provide a range of options. Each group has group facilitators, and organizational support and suggested curriculum will be provided. The suggested curriculum, which the groups will be free to modify, will include in each session (1) Bible readings and (2) questions directed to pertinent areas of men's lives. No "homework" is required.
The larger group meetings are open to all men, regardless of whether they are involved in a small group. These settings will stand on their own as an opportunity for interaction and inspiration, yet they will also provide some overarching structure and focus of the ministry.
